All clients must fulfill the following prerequisites for boarding admittance in order to arrange a preliminary meet & greet:

Required Current Vaccinations and Health Measures:

• Rabies
• DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza)
• Bordetella (Yearly, must have been administrated at least 11 days prior to acceptance)
• Negative fecal test (within last 3 months)
• Heartworm Preventative
• Flea & Tick Protection
• Neutered/spayed by 6 months of age

Recommended Vaccines and Health Measures:

•  Lyme Vaccine
•  Influenza Vaccine
• Leptospirosis

Behavior and Temperament Guidelines:

• Your pet will be assessed by owner for group compatibility
• Full disclosure of dog’s past behavior is required to ensure safety and happiness of all playgroup clients
• Dog has not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or another dog
• Dog is not possessive of food or toys
• All dog clients must be at least four months of age

All clients must have a town license for their dog.

A Dog’s Life will NOT accept the following:

• Dog clients that have a terminal illness and are in the late stages of that illness
• Dog clients that have had a communicable illness of any kind during the 30 days prior to acceptance
•  Dog clients that have been exposed to a communicable illness during the 30 days prior to acceptance

For Overnight Stays:

•  Dogs must complete required registration process
•  All food and supplies are to be provided by the owner
